"Dream" from the Clothesline series was chosen to be included in "500 Baskets"published by Lark Books. Jan Peters of Del Mano Gallery was the juror for nearly 2500 entries. The book, will be available in bookstores spring 2006.

Trashformations East is traveling. I am delighted to have one of my Spring Melt sculptures in this eclectic and imaginative group exhibition, curated by Lloyd Herman founding director of the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum. The schedule for the Fuller Craft Museum’s Trashformation East is:

National Museum of Women in the Arts Honors, March 1- May 31, 2005
My work was selected by the curator of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, D.C. to represent the state of Vermont in the Museum’s 2005 From the Committees Installation. One woman’s artwork was selected from each participating state. In Vermont there were 83 applicants from which Vermont curators chose 5 finalists.

In addition to the honor, my sculpture was the only art featured from the exhibition in the
Spring 2005 issue of NMWA ‘s publication, Women in the Arts.

One Women Exhibition at the Clark Gallery, Lincoln MA, January 4- 27, 2005
My Spring Melt series of sculptures, inspired by watching the ice melt on the river in spring, were successfully shown in this bright, welcoming gallery and well reviewed in the Boston Globe.
